New Senate Candidate For NSW - Raymond Bennie
Raymond, known as Ray to his friends, arrived in Australia in 1969 from Scotland and joined the Royal Australian Navy at 15 years of age serving as a gunnery rating and physical trainer for over 12 years.
After the navy Ray transitioned to civilian life achieving success through the transport industry before graduating into the financial sector in 1993 in which he now works.
Ray served the community as a volunteer in the surf life saving organisation.
Ray joined the Australian Defence Veterans Party and was a Senate candidate for that party. He has been able to network broadly in the veterans community, making connections all over the state with veteran service organisations. He has worked to assist veterans through the sports of dragon boat racing and outrigger canoeing.
Ray has been helping veterans by chairing the Purple Warriors Australia and assisting them through healing, rehabilitation and fitness.
Ray has a passion about aged care and seniors’ issues along with veteran support to transition from the military.

New Senate Candidate For NSW - Despina Kocher
Despina, who is better known as Dessie, is a resident of Valentine, a Suburb of Newcastle.
Dessie was born in Greece to Romanian parents and Greek grandparents. She was 3 months old when brought to Australia where the family was housed in Greta Camp.
Dessie studied at Newcastle University in Education in the field of Languages. She later taught Chinese, French & German in High School.
Dessie lived in Switzerland for five years, has two older sons and is a grandmother. She has been involved in scouting, as well as coaching and managing a boys ice hockey team. Her community work has involved the local Lions club as well as helping set up and maintain the Singleton camp for the Kosovar refugees in 1999 and taught them English.
Besides Teaching, Dessie has been involved in office administration and laboratory work and had been running her own business for the last 22 years. She is now a self-funded retiree.
Dessie cares about seniors and all generations. She has experienced injustice in our social security system and has seen the failures of our aged care system first hand.

Introducing Bob Burdett – Senate Candidate for WA
Bob is married to Carmen, they have six children and seven grandchildren. Bob has been involved with the political scene in WA since 2010.
His forty plus year career is centred on engineering, fabrication and construction. Predominantly within mining, petrochemical, oil and gas industries. He holds qualifications in, Occupational health safety; Training and assessment, Non-secular counselling and has a lifetime of experience.
Bob is driven with a passionate desire to return political control to the people of Australia. Modern communication provides everyone with the opportunity to have their say on all political issues in real time.
Bob is committed to implement a system for all constituents to guide his path, abiding by majority rule. Countering the present dictatorial norm by major parties and self-seeking minority groups.
He will speak for all of you, re-establishing the voice that has been sadly missing over recent years.
